That's the Beta Flight team, so it's probably an issue of Alpha Flight.

Could be an ad, though.

I think that might have been the first issue of Alpha Flight. It's a page that broke down of what characters were in each flight.....it's been a long tme since I read it though.

I have no idea where the one in the original post is from. Looks like something that could be in an annual issue.

I haven't read John Byrne's Alpha Flight in decade but I do remember liking it quite a bit. It was a very different team book where it just focused on about 2 members at a time (on average). And Bill Mantlo's time on the run was very good too (he took over after John left).

I know that my LCBS has a ton of Alpha Flight in their dollar bin and their annual sale is coming up (one of the things about their sale is that their dollar comics are only 50 cents) and I might pick them back up again.
