I'm glad they brought back Norman! The Green Goblin is another I missed out on because of my age. It was a great story, but stupid to kill off the #1 bad guy of all of comics #1 character! Thank God he's back! That is until Warren Ellis ruins him like he did Iron Man!

It looks like they're saying it was written it history that he went into the future before he died but they didn't say how long he was gone so there's the loophole. He could have been in our time for years before he went back to his time.
