I saw this at the LCS and did not like this at all.
I think the posse is good but the sculpt over all was bad. And they used paint instead of sculpting skills.

Didn't like it either when I saw it. The painted muscle tone just didn't look right.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

From the photo, I love the piece. I suppose i'll have to see more pics in hand to finalize my decision. I do love his artwork, though.

Had they actually done less to this piece, or been consistent with the production methods of the rest of the line, this would have been one of the better B&W's. Like I said earlier the Mignola is the sole B&W that necessitated the use of paint for detailing to convey the original artists work.
The use of the black on the face should have been soley reserved for a "Sprang" piece if they decided to do one. Especially after the Adams B&W was produced without it.

Looks good but I agree that they shouldn't have used two different blacks for the mask...looks kinda silly. Why does DC Direct always change stuff at the last minute and advertise stuff they never end up delivering accuratley? I know all collector companies do this to some degree but DC seems to be the worst.

Igot got mine today and it's OK. It's consistent with the rest of the line in quality, IMO. The only thing I don't like is the horrible design where he's stepping off the base.

I think it is Hong Kong.
Everything has to go through the Hong Kong production filter, and almost always it seems things change to some degree.
