"IAN" Paint WIP (Synthetic Female Warrior)

Hey Gang,

I thought I'd share a WIP of an upcoming statue we are making:



She is one of the main characters from an upcoming comic book from my friend Christopher Shy of Studio Ronin called "Silent Leaves"...

He was responsible for the "Ascend" comics published by image a while back as well as the "Pathfinder" graphic novel for Dark Horse (and theatrical poster if I'm not mistaken?).

In any case very cool art and challenging as well to capture so I'm using my airbrush almost exclusively in a layering fashion using greens and greys with a touch of yellow ochre and thinned down black....

I'm using Pebeo studio acrylics... she is also 15" tall without the base.
