"bloodRayne" Statue Comparison

Hi Gang,

To offer some clarification about our new BloodRayne statue when compared to our older one I wanted to show you a comparison shot:

Basically is is the same base statue with a slight pose change. The real difference is the three years experience creating statues since the first BloodRayne with casting as well as paint application improved two-fold.

What you see is not a prototype but rather the actual statue which is why she takes so long to make. That is also the reason we are not making as many and only selling 10 at once.

I wanted to go back and give Bloodrayne another go with all the new experience we have...

Hey Claudio.

Is the pose change just in the left arm or is there some change to her body?

Can I get one with a different paint application? Say, reverse the black and red on her costume or replace the red with gray?

Also, is there an option to have the base without the mutilated body this time around?

One other thing.. How am I supposed to feel about the one I purchased with the “bad” paint application?

Hey Clayton,

Unfortunately I can't make any alteration to the statue of any kind this time around. The only thing that I changed was the front arm making it point downwards.

I wouldn't call it a "bad" paint application on the previous one because, honestly, we killed ourselves to get them to look as nice as we could at the time and all considering I know we did our best...

Thing is, as in everything else, we grow with experience. Too many people have been asking us to re-issue the statue that I felt compelled to do so but I also wanted to sure to make some improvements based on our experiences since then...

I hope you don't feel slighted by this in the least because that is not intention. We cherish our collectors and recognize most of them by name.

On the same token we try to improve with every new release...

Looks great Claudio! I always say the make or break part of a female sculpt and paints is the face. Looks like this one is a winner.

Thanks a lot!

I spend a lot of time making sure the face is right because I am of the same opinion!

It shows. Seeing Bloodrayne, Dirt, and IAN (although I never saw a painted one if one was done), I'm even more excited about the Tarot statue (I see the little banner on the site now).

talk about blind sided. i knew you were contemplating making a new one but this just came out of nowhere. even though its a minor change i prefer the dropped arm pose of this new one. looks great!

and...ordered!

The true bronze version looks great as well.
