I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Love the old school vibe I just don’t see $500.00 here. This line has to be the most overpriced from any company in recent memory.

Maybe so, but do you see any other company making 1/4 Classic 80s turtles? Supply and demand really.
I can understand that mindframe on companies who charge $500 for the 10th Iron Man, or Wolverine, or Street Fighter. But we are never going to see 80s TMNT in 1/4 again. I am happy to support this line if it means small ES's and continuation into the villains.

Always curious. What pricing do you see? I paid $400 for Raphael direct from PCS when that was a thing (their pay in full option). I would think $400 a pop would be perfect. These are 1/4th scale if you're thinking below $400 I just don't see that as a realistic price point with all we know about the statue market.

Bought SSC 1/5 ten years ago and they were almost $200.00 then. most statues have more than double from then, and this is 1/4. I do agree any statue is now too much, but these ae about what most would charge. Years ago P1 were $700.00 for TMNT new movie statues.

300 if that at such a simple sculpt and paint of course PCs would be crazy to sell these at that when everyone else is getting paid for their statues with willing customers. Can’t go against market but at same time doesn’t make market correct.

Come on man. Tweeterhead 1/6th are in that $300 neighborhood. XM's 1/6th are around the same price these PCS TMNT statues. I mean people make their own buying choices. But $300? That's what these would have costed maybe a decade ago.

$500 is the new $400 for anything 1/4 scale nowadays.

"Simple sculpt"... getting it right in 3D is not as easy as it looks. My only issues with Raph are the portraits which look too alike, and maybe a more aggressive pose would have suited him better. Just wanting detail at the expense of the concept and execution makes for a boring collection fast. The TF G1 seekers, and Storm Shadow also "nail it" but certainly you have to be invested in these properties to feel they're worth it. Otherwise, they're just "simple" sculpts with no emotional pull.
