Steve Dillon has passed away

Sad news.
I'm not going to put on a show and say I'm devastated, but this is just of note to me because I literally started reading Preacher for the very first time last night and was captivated by the art style.

I just read this. I was a huge fan mostly because Steve Dillon worked so closely with writer, Garth Ennis, the 2 teaming up often on Marvel's The Punisher for, imo, the character's greatest run. If I look back on my favorite Ennis' stories, Steve Dillon was drawing them. We've debated on this forum over his art, but I for one, feel he was a great artist. From Preacher, to Thor:Vikings, to early Ennis works like Goddess & Pride and Joy, his art on DC's Animal Man, he drew strong panels & was great at action scenes & violence. Dillon was also clever in his humor. I will miss his art a lot. I've always enjoyed it & never hesitated picking up anything he was drawing. Rest in Peace.

Such awful news When I saw his son's post, I thought it was about Steve's dad, not himself, he was only 54
Just FYI, Glenn Fabry drew Thor: Vikings

He will certainly be missed. I absolutely loved his work on Hellblazer, and The Atom Special #1 was a favorite of mine.
