If you're gonna buy a Kirby, DC omnibus, buy Kamandi.

You know, I loved Kamandi as a kid and I’ve got the IDW Kirby Kamandi Artist’s Edition. This new DC Omnibus is scheduled for March 2018 and I’ve had it in my CGN Wish List waiting to pull the trigger.

I have the first three of 4 smaller omnibuses of The Fourth World which were released before the new oversized thick omnibus (i couldn't get the 4th one cause it was crazy expensive in the second hand market) and i read the first two... And i have to admit they didn't age well, i forced myself to get through some of it... But i love New Gods never the less. The execution was a little bit underwhelming but the ideas were grand though ! Darkseid is one of my favorite villains. May be i like him even more than Joker but i have never searched my feelings that way... Probably i like them both equally.
I will get the new omnibus too. Just, i got too many to get at the moment, that's all.

Does anybody know if DC is correcting the issue with the Fourth World omnibus? Thanks.

Just placed an order for a few books, some which may not technically be DC but I ordered Absolute Preacher vol. 2, Batman and Robin and finally the Invisibles Omni. Looking forward to reading them all for their own reasons!

Love Kamandi. I have the orig. issues & the Kirby collection hardbacks. You guys should really enjoy the Omni. Man, if DC ever wanted to slide a cool, under-the-radar property into their cinema world, Kamandi, obviously updated, would make for a great movie or series. The boy from Command Center D.
