This is a super niche hobby, the edition sizes went down mostly, there are plenty of new companies.

There is certainly not an increase in demand, probably the opposite, less buyers that compensate the smaller ES with higher prices.

I mean look at Iron Studios Thanos and Iron-Spider 1/4 scale, 850 ES and not even close to selling out.

The market probably has grown in 1/6 to 1/10 scales, but 1/4 and 1/3? I don't think so.

I look at the new Logan PF, go back to Freeze, and just shake my head.

The 1/4 and 1/3 is by far the best sellers and in most demand. Just look at the chatter on these forums and the fb forums. It's the most popular by far and for good reasons.

The ES on Sideshow pieces went up imo. They do higher prices + higher ES.
Look at Punisher, Domino, Rogue, all DC Statues...
Only one with lower ES I know of is Doomsday.

Green Lantern, Batgirl 500 EX
Mystique, Psylocke, Emma Frost 600 EX
Joker, Green Arrow, supergirl have 750 EX.
Poison Ivy 800 EX

Overall, ES did go down a bit I think.

Swamp thing isn't the best example as it was plastic which likely affected it's sales. Generally ES numbers are way up, although the odd exception comes along for whatever reason.

Agreed. The lack of clear tubing and flat colors in the suit is what’s contributing to that for me.

Twice the price but there’s just no beating the P1 Freeze IMHO.

Even if he was polystone I think the es would’ve been low since he’s a very niche character plus the high price.
