teenage pregnancy is part of my everday life as a HS teacher. Every goddamn day it seems they are younger and younger. One of my freshmen proudly proclaimed to me he was going to be a daddy and man up and take care of his kid, I said if I were you're father I would slap the **** out of you. Man up, learn how to be responsible, finish HS and stop being so damn ignorant. I swear to got teenagers know two things 1) how to ****, 2) how to text message. They are so poorly educated on sex and parenthood it is sick. One girl thought she might be pregnant, she never had intercourse but had given a young man a blowjob and swallowed. True story, I swear. Goddammit I hate my ****ing job...
I could go on and point fingers at bad parenting, social promotion, no child left behind or the social welfare system. Oh yeah, and personal responsibility, but its such a goddamn cluster**** I wouldn't know where to begin. Teenagers surround themselves in a sea of ignorance fueled by krunk music and reality TV and are perfectly happy with it, they all think they are going to get "discovered" or become pro athletes (without playing HS sports nontheless) and achieve riches, dubs and bling overnight. They are more concearned with their shoes matching their outfits (the boys too) then they are with Geography and Multiplication tables. To say they are Forest Gumpian in their disposition would be a compliment. Never before have I been surrounded by so many satisfied with the status quo, who were happy with a D- and cheered when they barely passed an open book test. Bah. Bah. Bah.
