I think with the way they made her skin look very soft that mixed media ends up complimenting the statue more.

Have a look at Miss Wong, made by Wanku studio.
Soft skin, and the Ada's long red dress is perfectly sculpted. She's sexy as hell. 
I would prefer Mai sculpted in the same way.

She is for PO on a belgian site. 750€ ( 900$)
Very very expensive....
I've received Miss Wong by Wanku studio. Perfect. you can see some out of the box on Youtube. The paint on the base is simple. I've slightly brushed the tiles for a better effect. I've paid 400€ for her. Less expensive than Mai..
