It is Steve’s kit, and it is more of a “personal” project. It’s pretty much there for accuracy. It might get small modifications done when they can look at the original.

I agree. Doubtful eFX ever releases this or another SS model ever again.

The Slave I at the EFX booth came from the same molds as the ones Disney exclusively commissioned EFX to make for their Launch Bay attraction in 2015. The maker of the Slave I is Mike Salzo, one of Steve Neisen's business partners.
Several artisans got screwed on that Launch Bay project --- Mr. Neisen told many of the artists that made models under him and EFX for the attraction that "Disney never paid us, so we can't pay you. Here's some resin garage kits as a token of our appreciation." Even though the entire project was under contract with Disney.
After that debacle, I refused to continue supporting Nice-N & EFX for scamming the artists out of so much money while they took all the spoils from Disney off the backs of many of the subcontractors they commissioned to do the work.
Steve Neisen's "right hand men", however all received adequate payment for their work on that project. Art Andrews over at theRPF perma-banned a few of the artists that spoke up on the forum about what Steve/EFX had done to them and their friends.
