thats true. but it would have been nice to see a base that was themed for the two pieces rather than just a clear plastic circle.
i understand they are trying something different. but considering she is from the jungle. it just seems out of place.
but yeah. im sure this would have been more money if it indeed have themed base to go along with her and the raptor.
but i might have picked this up eve if it was a bit more if it had a themed base for it.

the original looks far better than what they are going with. hopefully its just the sample and the factory messed up on. and that and they will change it back to the original.

I'm sure the prey this red raptor hunted preferred the color too, so they could see it hiding in the jungle.

Really??!!! Congratulations. i think this is going to be worth it. I'm tempted and I don't even know that much about Shanna. Good for you, prepare yourself for the wait though.

This piece really knocked me from the pics at CC last year. It was right at the top of my very short 'must buy' list.
I also didn't have as much of a problem with the clear base- though I was planning to swap it out for a dark hardwood one.

But @ $450 I'm having a much harder time seeing the value here. Especially now that they seem to have cheaped out on the raptor paint apps- making it a much simpler, easier to mass produce scheme.
Even if I thought I had a chance of finding this at $360 I think I would still pass. The raptor changes + price muffle just about all my enthusiasm for this now.

A shame as the figure sculpt is still one of the best female ones I've ever seen. Much more natural body attitude than SS generally seems capable of.
