A true evil Mother that you just hate from the first moment you meet. Shows what mankind is capable of without Law & Order to keep the chaos in check.

Thanks...I'll be looking forward to that characters introduction.

After watching episode IV again I am really surprised at the lack of perimeter defenses around the campsite.

I would not have expected a wd attack go be that swift, even in a feeding frenzy state. That must have been some good fish to attract that many up the mountain! lol

I agree. All they would have needed was some sort of early detection setup. Simply string up some fishing line and some more cowbell.

Just finished episode four and loved it. Really enjoyed the pace, the actors, and the FX. Can't believe at four episodes in we have only seen a fraction of the story so far. . . . This is going to be EPIC

I thought the deputy was doing that in the 2nd episode or so. I thought I remember him tieing some cans to some bushes.

Your right! You see the cans strung up....when they find the zombie eating the deer.

Which really when you think about it lends even more credibility to Merle bringing the zombies back in the box van. He could have cut the cans down before unloading his delivery.

Sunday night's episode 5 of "The Walking Dead" was pure greatness. THIS is what I've been enjoying for so long with the comic series: gripping drama through the interactions of great characters. This series is a worthy successor to "Lost," and that's no small feat.

Another thought: the actress who plays Lori reminds me of Debra Winger a bit.

Another thought: Very nice interaction between Andrea and Dale tonight.

Another thought: Andrea was truly frightening when she pulled the gun on Rick and said "I know how to use a safety."

Another thought: Twice tonight I was spurred to say out loud, "That is so hardcore": Carol going a bit nuts while "taking care" of her husband and Andrea kissing her sister's cheek while "taking care" of her.

One last thought: I can't imagine this series without Daryl. Although he's not in the comic series, he is EXACTLY what this ensemble cast needs. Holy cow, he's threatening to become my favorite character.
