Now I am worried about Teague, Freaks and Geeks is down to 2 in the TV elimination thread and he hasn't been around to vote for it.

Thanks for the concern, guys. I was, indeed, away on a reading trip. And I'm leaving on another (this time to Arizona) in about an hour. But I'll be back on the 30th, and I hope to check in here and there over the weekend.

And not a TV quote, but an appropriate one: "Sorry I've been away so long. I won't let you down again."

You're talking about Hooperman, starring John Ritter of Three's Company fame and Debrah Farentino, who appears in Eureka, on the Sci-Fi Network. The show in which Mister Ritter portrayed a Reverend would be The Mary Tyler Moore Show, where he played the good Reverend Chatfield, who marred Ted Baxter and Georgette.

That was horrible. Good job!
LOL...glad you enjoyed that, SD! And you actually get extra-extra bonus points, because I can't believe I forgot that Ritter married Ted and Georgette, too. I was thinking about his earlier role as a traveling reverend on Walton's mountain! (I guess Ritter played a lot of clergy in his day...)

Nice work.

Okay. This took me forever to put together, but here goes.

This 70s show, in the vein of Love Boat and Fantasy Island, relied heavily upon its guest stars as they crossed the country. The regular cast was comprised of mostly unknowns and B-Actors, which may have been the death knell of the show, seeing as it only ever had nine episodes. (Seriously. Unlike Love Boat or Fantasy Island, not one member of the regular cast ever appeared in a starring role before this, nor after, really.)

Any more information than that will give it away. Put on your thinking caps, and tell me the name of this show.
