Alright, so I finally got around to unboxing this dude today. What an amazing piece! The detail and paint app is so much higher than I expected. Jerry you did a great job with this one. I really like the pose on this a lot....it's just so....bad ass!

The only down side, like others who have got theirs...I'm missing the robot parts. Not a big deal though, I'll call SS Monday about it. My honest opinion about the new styrofoam, it's "ok" not much better than the stuff that my scorpion PF came with. It's very brital still and made a mess everywhere just like the scorpion styro. Their even appeared to be a section in the centre of dredds stomach area where they cut out to much styro and broke through the other side. So all they did was put blocks of styro in the hole to fill it in. Kinda lazy, will also make it a pain to pack back up if I need to.
Other than that, it a wicked piece. Very glad I got my hands on one.

Took a few shots with my iPhone. I got a little creative with some pictures near the end

I don't know this character at all, but he looks like a really nicely painted piece! Congrats.

Wow this turn out way better than expected I might want this now. Was this really like 540.00 with shipping? Kind of pricey for a brand new item... Hmmm must think about it first.

Love this piece. I am so jealous.
Paint looks great. I like the metallic blue of his outfit.

Congrats Chris!

I had the same thoughts on the Styro. And the same hole in the middle with chopped up bits/squares used to support the character.
It worked but the downside being that the styro was flaking all over the place and I sense that it won't hold up for future moving/shipping.

Great statue though!

Also, I didn't get the "call me Kenneth" robot head but I think that will be sorted by Jerry.

Nice work, Alterton. You did a good job sculpting Scorpion and Dredd.
