Well, this is HUGE news! The 1st 2 years on this book including the Marvel Special Edition run, are some of the best comics Marvel put out in the 70's. Gotta wonder though, if somehow, Marvel will sponge clean the Fu Manchu references, which are everywhere, in this collection? I know that they no longer own the rights to even mention him.

Wow, yeah, huge news and great question! I wonder...

It always bummed me out that the Conan issues are missing from the What If? tpbs. I always loved the Thor/Conan issue. Hope they don't scrub Fu Manchu's name as the character obviously will be in the collection and on the cover of the book.

I came across #0 the other week while looking for a blu-ray. It's right across from me!

Just ordered this today, along with the new Greenberg The Vampire trade, off CGN.

I was surprised to see Marvel do a 3rd printing of the Miller/JAnson Omnibus. Been waiting for the Companion Omnibus so glad to see it up there!

Recently picked up the Omnibus of Secret Wars (smaller than I thought it would be, but I'm glad to have it), and the Tim Sale: Colors triad (which was probably cheaper because Cap: White just got released, which means the thing is incomplete.

Come to think of it, you can probably thank me for Cap: White finally being released, because it probably wouldn't have happened had I not bought the Tim Sale Omnibus first.

Didn't know the Loeb/Sale Colors books had been collected.

I didn't either, and then somehow I ran across one on eBay...ended up finding one for cheap ($18) on Amazon in their used section. It's a nice book, and I was going to sell my individual hardcovers and keep the collected version...though now I'm not sure, with White finally coming out. Sigh.
