Did it cost you $150 USD as well? (+ around $100 USD brokerage etc on arrival?)

Yep, and that doesn't include the customs, and GST that we'll also have to pay.

This piece, I'm sure, will be worth it. It's a "to squid, from squid" X-mas gift.

Oh yes, I often dream of what my collection would look like if I lived in the US. Ordering 1:1's, and display cabinets would be effortless and cheap. Plus all the eBay sellers that won't sell to their northern neighbors would a problem of the past.

Cross country skiing is great if you live in a small country.

Don't forget the PST as well dude - same in Alberta?

Customs fee won't be charged - I think the brokerage "and other" UPS charges incorporate everything except the PST/GST.

So - total should be about $130 CDN all-in for UPS fees + GST + PST (12% total).

Same here - this is a "To Spike from Spikey-dude" gift.

No PST in Alberta.

I hope you're right about the charges, the exchange on my Visa brought it almost $3000 already.

Oh yeah - I forgot - they charge you less taxes because of the weather you have to put up with

That's cool for you then - you save 7% ($140 USD / approx $175 CDN) straight away - you should share it with me

also on a sad note, his little spine is broken. Not his actual spine, but the trophy one. It has a small crack and was bent. I bent it back into place and it looks mostly fine. I wonder if they can send another one without shipping the whole monster.

No problem, cheques in the mail. I'll leave you positive feedback upon arrival.

On a serious note, good luck to all of us who have this in transit at this busy time of year for a safe arrival.
