Marteen have you ever tried to get a license for final fantasy 7? I've never seen official prints from ff7.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Yes we have. I'm a FF fan myself so this would be something I would love to do personally as well. The best FF 7 artworks have been done by Yo----aka Amano. He has the rights to his work even if it includes Final Fantasy. Or he shares it with Square Enix. We made the FFXV art book in Japan in 2017 and of course talked with Square about this. Square can't authorize prints based on his work without his involvement. We have not yet had contact with Amano directly. There is also a conflict with Square Enix Publishing in Japan (their book publishing division, not the game publishing side) who say 'we already do posters'. LOL, I have not yet been able to talk with someone there to explain the difference.

So, quite a lot of moving parts and not so straight-forward. But I give us a good chance for maybe next year.

StarCraft

So, hello again. At C&B we are preparing the launch of our first StarCraft prints. And we're in the final stages which is determining sizes. We would be interested in hearing some collector feedback. We have the opportunity to go really large with some of the works. But do we need a 8 foot Space Marine or not?

We're prepping a short list that we are sharing with our members of the Cook and Becker FB group exclusively to see if we can determine optimal artwork size for fans. If you want to give feedback, why not join the group and you can participate next week.

Also, I know Dark Souls is popular too . Last week we released an awesome new print for that!

Hi C&B. Can’t wait to see what you have in store for SC. I don’t do Facebook/social media but a suggestion would be to take stock in what people’s favorites are in your Facebook comments/poll and treat them like you did your Lich King print. Small ES on the larger pieces and enough available for us space savers. Maybe even do a smaller ES for the smaller prints so they fly off the shelf after a month or two. As for myself I hope you chose to include a Nova print.
