I agree about Thulsa Doom, I will wait forever for him. It will be very hard to pass on future (if any) Conan releases. I may switch from ordering directly through Chronicle where I pay all my money upfront years in advance to something like Sideshow or Entertainment Earth where I can do a deposit and then just wait a couple years.

100 Thulsa Doom statues fully paid over a year in advance equals $75,000.00 dollars in the bank for CC. At a conservative 2.35%, that is around 1,800 bucks of interest money- gravy for Chronicle.

That's the main reason I don't full pay if I don't have to. I have him ordered through a third party with only a small deposit until he actually ships. I'd rather order with CC direct, but with no early bird discount it's not worth having to pay so much before it's ready.

Still says August on the website. Where did you hear this and how much more delayed will it be?

I don't think CC changes their dates, or at least they didn't. His order might be with Sideshow or another distributor.

Ah, thanks. That makes perfect sense.

Their payment system takes last payment even if item isn't ready to ship yet, so it might still be a while.
