So glad to have this Vader bust. Love it! I really like the pose on this one. From looking at pics of the other one, I think this one is a tad more accurate to the trilogy(I am no expert so don't get all crazy if I'm wrong). Just little things like the greys are darker and its of a higher gloss. Maybe the helmets are different, I cant exactly tell. Vader fans should most definitely get this piece if you missed out on the first one like I did. Most impressive.

Awesome! This looks great. The helmeted head here looks better than the original in my opinion. I think apart from the resculpted mask and helmet, the rest of it looks fairly similar. I'm assuming aspects of this one are made of fiberglass like the previous one was. As far as gloss goes, I think it depends on the lighting. Here's a shot of my helmet, mask and stand.

Agreed. But that face sculpt is sooooo good, I would trade this one in for the one you have any day. The multiple display options of yours is just fantastic. Whoever owns the original should hold onto it. Don't think we will see anything like that for a long time and at the price you all payed. You're right, definitely high gloss on yours. If anyone you know in your area got this one, you should take side by side pics to see if there are differences that we cant see. And damn, you know how to take pics man!

Prototypy, the chain/clasp for the cape is plastic.

Fibreglass and no articulation. The cape is well done and not cheap.

Thanks for the comments Inkedsuhi! I hate that POS plastic chain it comes with. It's so stiff and just plain ugly. I bought a very nice metal one from a costume maker on ebay. This is mine with the new chain. If anyone is interested, send me a PM and I'll give you the link.
