I think it depends on the IP. As you said, Marvel are generally a bit less sexualized. But, while we do see things like MLP figures, we also have the horror line, which are very much the opposite. I definitely wouldn't say that sexy bishoujos are a thing of the past.

DOM here, Lady Deadpool was the last Marvel one I bought. Red She-Hulk was the last good one they released. I'll stick with DC, GIJoe and the movie/horror line.

I kind of wish they would just do new ones of the same character instead of doing reissues...
I wonder if it's a cheaper licensing wise to re-release them vs doing an all-new one. I imagine it's cheaper financially since they already have the molds...

Well, statue companies want a piece of the pie when they see prices on the secondary market, but when they make thousands of some statues, they just destroy the values of their inventories.
