Bane PF or Swamp Thing Maquette
Really torn between these two pieces. Love both characters but can only afford one at the moment. Like to know from you guys which piece would be a better buy.

I can't speak to the Swamp Thing PF, but for my part Bane is a very well done piece. It is a very heavy piece, with in my opinion one of the finest sculpts Sideshow has produced in recent memory. I echo others in my criticism that his tank top looks a bit strange hugging his shoulders as closely as it does (and for that reason it might have been a better choice to go mixed media for that portion). But other than that, I have very little complaints about this piece. I have downsized and/or restructured my collection many times and I can honestly say I would have a real tough time letting go of this one should the necessity/occasion arise.

Polystone always win over PVC. If bane was release today, expect ssc to charge $1200. Get bane.. u wouldn’t regret it.

I do not think you can go wrong either way. I personally like both statues.
However, I only bought Swamp Thing. It is a vinyl statue that is very light; however, the base is very heavy. It is also a very detailed statue as well...It is not clear that polystone could capture that amount of detail.
The better question is which character do you like better? If I were you, that is the one I would buy. Good luck!

Bane is definitely on the top of my list of favorite statues... Unless you're a hardcore fan of Swamp Thing, I would get Bane... That's what I bought and have zero regrets...
