I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Listen, there is no excuse for this price point. The piece is worth $450 tops. Just look at the price for the Batman statue. $300 for the statue that goes with the car. Have you seen the Youtube vids of it up close? The paint applications are atrocious. The Batman symbol looks like a child painted it on. It isn't remotely crisp.
More power to you if you want to pay for the piece, but good lord--you're being completely ripped off.
That being said, the base the Batmobile sits on looks cool. But the 1/3 statues go for as much as this. And they're WAY cooler.

How much was Prime 1’s sole 1/10 Scale Batmobile again?
But then again nearly every major studios pieces are priced twice as much as they should be. I’m used to getting ripped off on movie based pieces, as I doubt I’ll get half of what I originally spent on them. Probably less once shipping is included.
Now time to preorder this overpriced piece........maybe.

people who still compare the deluxe version to HT's plastic batmobile after all the arguments have been presented to them are dumb as hell
Just like Toynami's and P1's batmobiles, this is overpriced (although not as strong as the competitors) but if you expected to pay around $400 for it, you're totally delusional

I have no issues with the price as I had calculated a $700 + price based off Iron Studios 1/10 Jurrasic Park Jungle Explorer which is $650.
But what I can't understand or tolerate is the lack of love Iron Sudios have given this Batmobile. Where are the working lights???
The Jungle Explorer has working head & tail lights as well as interior lighting.
So why NOT the mighty 1989 Batmobile??
Both Hot Toys & Toynami have working lights which makes the iconic vehicle pop.
The base looks amazing & if there were working head & tail lights combined with a light up cockpit then this Batmobile would rival any. But I'm left with a sour taste in my mouth with so my much for Jurrasic Park Franchise & not enough attention to detail for Batman 1989.

Lights ups stink. I have one IA Hulkbuster lights won't work, now not worth much and a lot to ship. Darth Malgus PF light didn't work in a year, I have had SSC Obi Wan diorama for ten years and they do work, GG Darth Vader statue for about 12 years, it works but I get so worked up that it wont work anymore
I do agree would look cool though.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of lights on any statue. If they stop working the value of your statue plunges.

I thought sideshow was going to give the options just to buy it for $700?
Maybe I just buy little Keaton and put him next to toy biz batwing.
