It's decent but not worth the asking price IMO.

If the 1/3 ends up like this, I'll cancel my PO and get the P1 instead (will lose the NRD but c'est la vie).

Honestly what was said about this piece, is also exactly what I said about their Spock (which I've seen in person) and the Captain Picard which I have.

I love the Picard. The likenesses from Darkside have been great to excellent. But the paint is kind of dated in comparison to how other movie pieces are painted nowadays (and as some know that's pretty much all I collect), in particular the skin paint app, and I did at the time also use the Sideshow comparison.

But what I saw in a YouTube video of the Kirk from Nearmint/Jeff/Secret Sanctuary, it had me think they were maybe improving in that area; so much so that I'm still really considering the Kirk too.

I don't think this piece looks terrible but like others have said, the paint apps look like something from at least 5 years ago. Also, at the price they are charging for this, it is an easy "no". At $1,500, maybe.

I was thinking the same thing. From a distance this looks like a stellar piece, but up close, that portrait looks like a Sideshow portrait from 10 years ago. I would have thought for the price this would be JND quality. Its mainly the hair for me.

I got mine about a month ago from SSC but it's still in the box - need to clear out some space in my Moducase to make room for this.

The box is quite heavy - it's listed around 80 lbs.

From all the reviews I've seen, the overall sculpt is pretty good but the paint apps disappoint (espcially the head sculpts), something SSC would of produced 5 or more years ago.

From an objective point of view, the statue is not worth the hefty price tag; however, T2 is one of my favorite movies and I have yet to see a comparable product of Arnold in a bike in this scale - there is no alternative other than Darkside.

kalelsupes808 posted a Youtube review a couple days ago for this statue.

I'm not sure when I'm going to unbox mine, not a priority right now.
