So the Yanks payroll almost doubles the Mets payroll and the Yanks couldnt even make it out of the 1st round!!!

that's accurate as of April'06. there were a lot of changes, and lets not forget how much money came off due to injuries. Matsui, Sheffield, and Pavano are about 25 million. Also, Rangers pick up a 9 million of Arods salary.

and lets not forget that the National League is the little sister league. they just flat out suck.
