Jerry mentioned @nycc when I asked about why we haven't seen anymore ChunLi updates. He said she is done being sculpted and off to the tailor.

It just seems odd to show so many work in progress images / videos only to pull the plug on all updates without showing Chun-Li with hands. The sculpt did not appear to be as polished as Mileena http://www.statueforum.com/showthread.php?t=156671 but maybe was once it was painted / sent to the tailor.
If what you say is correct 'off to the tailor' does this mean Chun-Li has already been painted?

I can wait and honestly I think it's best.
I'd like to see a PCS 1/3 something delivered before plunking down $3,000 for a triple Chun-Li set.
It will sell either way but I personally feel the 1/3 POs should wait for delivery to catch up.
As a PCS SF collector and especially as a PCS SF & MK collector I will feel a bit exhausted after Evil Ryu and Juri is next right around the corner.
If he shows it too early hype will die down.
Plus it will just make wait from PO to delivery seem that much shorter. The wait is getting a lot of folks inflamed around here and it would be nice for the PCS section to go back to less agitated times.
So yeah this thing can bake a good bit longer.
