question for articulation experts

So I recently made a series of video game charms. One of the more popular ones is a mini gamecube controller. The mold on that one got really messed up though, so I'm recasting in wax to fix it and then make a new mold. I figured since I have the chance to re-work it, I would ask the forum about this. I really would love to make the buttons on it work. I want the buttons to push in and the sticks to be moveable like a real controller. Problem is, I haven't the slightest idea of how to do it. I only ever do statue work, and haven't braved the world of articulation which seems incredibly tedious.

does anyone have any idea how I could make the buttons pushable, or would it be more trouble than its worth? If it's alot extra work per piece, I probably couldn't justify it unless I'm charging a ton. Then again if the buttons all needed to be made separately, I could make gang molds and make a ton at once using dyed resin and save myself the painting step.
