It was not the Reverend Wright he knew.
And also I think they are trying that angle with Ayers.
He didn't know.
So either way, he either is making alliances with radicals, or naive and dangerously uninformed about whom he allianced himself with for years.
Unfit for the presidency.

Perhaps you missed my point - I was comparing myself to a selct few individuals that I know who vacationed and travelled and "hung out" while I went to 9 years of post high school education. They now believe they are entitled to my salary. That is wrong.
I never said or implied that others did not work hard at their jobs.

Who doesn't know this anymore? If you haven't heard all there is to hear about the Wright story, then you just haven't been paying attention. The Right has been trying to make this story stick since the Spring, and it's never gotten any traction.
I think it doesn't stick because everyone knows of someone they disagree with strongly, and still don't kick to the curb. Happens all the time, even (maybe especially, given the business) among presidential candidates.

False dichotomy. It's far from either/or.

exactly
anyone who thinks everyone that McCain (or any other politician for that matter) associates with is squeaky clean is just naive

Maybe to you it’s not but to allot of people it is. It’s huge and the way Obama denounced him shows that. That’s not run of the mill mudsling’n as far I’m concerned.

Perhaps you should say this to an entire room of cancer survivors or hepatatis survivors. Or perhaps focus on diseases that have been virtually eradicated in developed countries like Polio, whooping cough, german measles or chicken pox. I guarantee you not one survivor would agree with your statement.
