I emailed Dynamite about how terrible these are. And they said they are working on improving the quality on future pieces. LOL. Well, maybe pieces that haven't entered production yet. They should just recall all of these and have them repainted. I think a 2-year-old would have done better.

Yeah, I hoping the jungle girl statue comes out better. It would be worth a delay if this is the typical paintjob.

Quite frankly with all of the flack the first color version received, I'm surprised Nick Barrucci allowed this variant to get released into comic stores.

It's only compounding the defects and flaws of the first.

Dynamite seriously needs to recall this Vampirella from ALL stores.

I can't believe people are still considering buying some of the statues in this line. If Vampirella taught me anything, its that the people/factories working with Dynamite have absolutely no clue how to make a quality statue. Even if Jungle girl orPurgatory do come out nicer, I still don't expect them to even meet the quality of DC's cover girls series, which is 1/2 to 1/3 the cost. Vanpirella was so bad that I have absolutely ZERO faith that they can pull this line off. My money will be sticking with companies that actually have a clue how to make a quality statue.

I'm still waiting to get a response to my email about the first statue replacements. I have no intention of paying for this one until then. I looked at it again today, and it really is awful.

I see this is offered in this month's pre-orders. I'll be skipping it. Considering the price point I was hoping these would be comparable or better than DC's Bombshells/Cover Girls line. Not even close.

Did they ever make a 2nd production run on these, like they did with the colored version?
