Unfortunately the TV watching public is made up more of the Real housewives crowd and not so much the Sci-fi crowd. It's a pity too.

I was reading some of the interview one of the show runners gave and I don't think this show is going to be what a lot of people are expecting. This show won't necessarily follow Dredd, but other Judges in Mega City One and how they deal with being the law. They way he was talking about the series it seemed that it's more a possibility that Dredd could do Cameos or single episodes, but probably won't be the focal point.

It kinda bummed me out if that's really the case as I was hoping for Dredd centered series with other Judges popping in and out, not the other way around.

If that's is the case, then watch the first season be that format, and when the public love Dredd and hate most of the other characters they'll flip it.
