High end Headphones SENNHEISER etc

I just got a pair of SENNHEISER HD 600s
WHOLEY fLuRking Shnit
THESE sound amazing

This type of
Audio is a whole new experience for me

I’ve been listening to what people call good computer speakers my whole life (Logitech) and Bose downstairs
These sounds at least 3times clearer than both
And the base is as damn good as it can get

Only spot in technology that I haven’t explored much into is sound and this unfortunately has got me hooked
But it was Worth every penny

I’m sure I would have been just as impressed with the HD 555's but i got these used from some audiophile so they weren’t too much

I highly recommend any high end sennhieser cans(beyerdynamic\denon\ grados\ etc) to anyone who’s looking to heighten their listening experience

It's always worth investing in a good set of headphones.
I use beyerdynamic.

Grados are prolly the best set of cans you can buy. Especially the GS1000 series I have hooked up to my system. Even has wood as part of them.

For in ear canal phones I use mainly Ultimate Ears SuperFi10s for mid to high range and all around music, for a little more base some Shures insulating earphones, and for the iPhone the V-Moda earphones. The V-Modas are more bass driven, but I used to have a Shure microphone and earphone adapter to plug in my Ultimate Ears but the cords were too much to handle.

Dr. Dre released a new pair of cans and they're pretty sweet, for $400 with some new technology in them with some premium drivers in them. I haven't found them yet but I'd like to get my hands on them.

Ultimate Ears make slightly less expensive earphones as well. The SuperFi3s and SuperFi5s are around $75 and $190 respectively.

The differences are the number of drivers in each bud. 3s have only one driver to recreate all sounds in the track, the 5s two drivers for the mid-highs and the lows, and of course the 10s have 3 drivers for all those.

Etymotic or something like that are pretty good.

Shure's make a good all around pair that are around $150-175.

V-Modas are around $99. I'd say, go for some of those if you can afford them. I'm not a big fan of Sennheiser but that's just because of other issues. They're still really good and since I'm not into them I'm not all that savvy on them.

@Trilogy, I completely agree on that and also believe that getting a pair of affordable quality headphones requires some research. With changing trends we see a lot of options on the market such as Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic, SoundMagic, Logitech, JBL, etc., from which one can make a choice based on specific requirements and budget.

I've never heard of the brand Beyerdynamic. Having popped the word into Amazon, the DT 990 receive 5/5 reviews. Impressive.

On the looks front, they look boring. At the end of the day, it's the sound that counts

I use my old but reliable audio-technica, but if you want reviews on headphones take a look at a you-tube reviewer on headphones. He goes by Z review

I think he does a great job on reviews. He has many videos on headphones on you-tube. He seems to love the audio-technical and mad dogs. He does reviews just about with a lot of other cans as well. Some links below but you can click on this
