Dream ending for Nolan's trilogy

If you had your way, how would you have ended the series...Joker and Bats round 2; Bane and CW...? Mysterious batman dies ending? What would you have done?

I definitely wish Joker could have made an appearance. Simply because of how legendary their last encounter was.

Not sure how much of his involvement I would have wanted though. My concern would be that his presence would potentially distract too much from Bane and the rest of the conflict.

I'm not sure I would've wanted Bane if Ledger was alive. I'm thinking a Joker/Bruce finale where we perhaps see them "die" together would've been cool; sort of
A homage to the idea that the Joker and Batman will be in conflict "forever"

Knightfall would've been the way to go. Have Jean Paul Valley in the movie as a cop inspired by Batman instead of Levitt character,then be trained by Batman if anything should happen to him. After Bane broke Batman, while recovering. Jean would've taken over as Batman. Bruce would've come back after Azrael defeated Bane only to find out Azrael has become crazy and would've to defend gotham from a psychotic Batman. Joker wouldve been cool but who would they get to play him. For Catwoman I would've left her out or get some else to play her. Just my two cents.

I'm still hoping we see Clint Eastwood in a Batman Returns movie with Jack Nicholson as the Joker.

To be honest I really liked what we got. The things that I would have added/ tweaked/ changed is that Bruce was so completely on the shelf for 8 years, a nod or conversation about Arkham/the Joker and perhaps Banes choice not to liberate it and a "Lazarus Pit" of some type to supplement Bruce's healing (perhaps akin to the wax in "Wanted". That and maybe a reshoot of Talias death scene....
