With the multiple switch out portraits it's a done deal for me. This zatanna is the only one for me.

Knowing P1, it'll probably be mostly identical head sculpts with different expressions. I can't really imagine displaying Z with anything other a smiling portrait, so hopefully they do something more unique with the switch-outs. Still anticipating thus one more than SS's, although I prefer the heels from the original render over the boots. Those are why I skipped the Bishoujo, too.

Like you, i'd love to see some creativity with the switch-outs. Maybe a COH with the hat off to pair with a switch-out hand holding a rabbit in the Hat. It really doesn't matter to me what P1 does as long as they display her magic in some way. The SS piece was a wasted opportunity to me because of just that.

That's a really good idea and in-line with what P1 did with Arkham Harley in making the jack-in-the-box something you could hold in one of her switch-out hands or just display on the base.

I like the SS PF as a simple, maquette-style piece (the stage lights on the base were a nice subtle tribute to the character.) I share the mindset of many on here that I'm not sure how interested I am in paying premium price for such simplicity unless it's supremely executed like something from Attakus or Blitzway. The PF, for all its charm, just feels like an obligatory Zatanna piece. I look at the poses and bases on other DC PFs and could see them being people's definitive takes on a character (Bane, Wonder Woman, etc.) Not feeling that with Z.
