Is that a confirmation you're the sculptor for this one ?

I'm not really one to cast an opinion of a piece that I'm not buying, but I think any idea that involves making the crocodile smaller is a mistake. People have been talking and waiting for this piece for years... they deserve an epic croc!!!

As someone who has wanted this piece I agree in theory but in reality understand the need to balance cost + shipping box weight + display room.
Not many of us will be able to display if the thing is 3 feet long

To have an idea of what it could be, Troy McDevitt sculpted something similar some time ago for another company:

That's a beaut. Looks like it was ripped straight from the Joe Kubert comics.

Yeah it's a good one. They moved away from Frazetta's one because of the length and turned the Croc much more vertical (sinking its tail entirely).
Never really gave a reason why they didn't release it. I think they decided the market wouldn't bear two Tarzan dio's from them at the same time.

I think they can keep it Epic style croc without going over the 3' length, they would just have to arc the tail up a little bit and turn the head in a little bit. When it transfers from 2D to 3D it can be very subtle and not really noticable.

One change for the better that was done on a Frazetta that most people didn't even notice is Troy lifted the right heel on the Atlantis statue to make it more anatomically realistiic and that statue is one of my favorites, and unexpectedly so.

I had hopes on the ARH piece, but seeing this is good news.

Question for Level52 Studios:

If the Croc piece ultimately proves to be to large to produce, would you consider potential other Frazettza Tarzan pieces?
