I'm not too surprised. Single run relatively new at 5-6 years old?
If it was Saitama, it would be a different story.
I thought the Laxus was supposed to go up for sale also? Anyone hear anything about him?

"A surprise Tsume announces the HQS + line for the characters of "Naruto Shippuden" series. The statues will be realized in 1/4 scale, in line with the style adopted for Majin Vegeta, then with enough static pose but with a higher quality level. The first prototype will be unveiled in 2017!"......

I love that they are doing 1/4 but it does annoy me that it impacts the smaller statues and lines that are already established.
Now Tsume say oh the 1/4 don't affect the other lines but they obviously do, seems like were getting 1 smaller scale Naruto statue a year now with only Hashirama up for PO this year.
1/4 isn't the be all and end all of statues and with stuff like Naruto, Dragon Ball, One Piece etc they get much better more exciting sculpts at a smaller scale imo.
At this point i'd be much more excited if they announced a key character like....oh i don't know....SASUKE!! in the HQS line.

I completely agree. 1/4 is a ludicrous size, and since they are working with anime (Y'know, spectacle!), 1/6 is perfect. for more intense dioramas, they could even go down to 1/8, imho at least.

Completely agree. Actually getting pretty tired of so many properties and characters going 1/4 or 1/3.

Really don't want to see yet another company give up and abandon all the 1/6th scale fans...

Good god... I really don't understand the crys for 1/3rd. 1/4th is already huge, I couldn't even imagine having a collection of 1/3rd.

1/4 doesn't excite me. Don't think I will buying many/any tsume HQS+
Also, they had a video which seemed to indicate they have a Berserk license now. (I hope this is true!!)

Please don't post other companies or customs in the Tsume thread. (also careful cuz the mods don't approve of customs on the forum)
That being said, that looks like just a rip from the Jump VS game statue that was made in Japan (was life size and is Goku vs Luffy). Also djfungshing already made that in 1/6th diorama.
