Correction. Only the Jungle Girl was Dyanmite. Hit Girl was Dynamic Forces

Good news! BBTS has her up for pre-order at only $189.

Hand-painted on cold-cast porcelain, the Vampirella statue stands approximately 12" in height with a 6" base, with each individually numbered as part of a Limited Edition run of 1969 statues.

Was hoping for at least 1/5 scale, but still... might have to pick this up.

I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to spot this thread. I need to look at the News and Updates page more! Thanks to everyone who’ve posted here, it’s been an interesting read. I wonder if Dynamite have chosen Vampirella as their first “Women of Dynamite” subject after seeing how popular the Sideshow statues have been? I just hope it doesn’t put people off her because of over exposure (although in that costume I guess “over-exposure” is hard to avoid! ) I guess as Dynamite owns the Vampirella license, it’s unsurprising that it wants to make use of every form of media.

I tend to agree with Cyber-Lip about the cape; it’s not traditionally associated with Vampirella, but on the plus side, it gives the pose quite a sexy edge, almost as if she’s unveiling herself. The other plusses for me, if the promo picture is anything to go by, are her green eyes, calf-length boots and gold bat emblem, traditional features sometimes missing from the Sideshow figures.

I also noted Hanky’s comment about capturing the typical Campbell face style. I personally am not a big fan of some of his more caricature-driven styles of face, but to my relief, this particular statue style is closer to the gorgeous artwork he did for “Vampirella and the Scarlet Legion” #1 cover. It’s interesting to compare this with the preparatory sketch shown in the link in Cyber-Lip's original post.

Obviously, I’ve put my order in already!

Regards,

Dave.

I think Campbell's style has only improved over the years in regards to his interpretation of Vampirella. This latest version seems to be his best effort --pulling off an attractive look that has been somewhat exaggerated in the past.

For those who can't afford the SS premium price tag, this will make for a mighty fine affordable yet stunning alternative.

Can't wait to see more production pics.

Are there actual sculpt pics of this? The preorder looks digital? Would like to see it before ordering.
