I get that the figure looks cool, but divorcing it from it's base misses a significant point in appreciating what is involved, I would think.

For myself, it was pretty tough to get the entire figure because of the very narrow aisle space in front of his display case. You basically had to stand right up against his case to get pics...that and the glare on the glass was brutal at that particular location.

In reality, it's merely more conventionally large.

I'm sure that's a relief to all the Ikea cabinet owners here, but I'm a little disappointed it's not really going to tower over everything else.

If you take into account where the base lies on their respective risers, it seems to be only a couple inches taller than the standing Iron Man behind it and looks to be almost exactly as tall as the X-23 if you count from the top most point of her hair to the top most point of Thor's hammer.

I'm just now realizing this, whole time i was under the impression that the overall statue was taller, in reality looks only a bit taller than iron man who's standing.

Iron Man's riser was about an inch taller than Thor's, and Thor was still about 2" taller, so figure Thor is 3" taller than Iron Man.
