Because otherwise it's inaccurate
The power is down on that fence and the lights are not working.
Nowhere in that scene are the lights active on top of the fence.

Yes, but the IS diorama costs far more for those extra features. Plus their Rexy doesn't look as good as P1's. Gotta give the edge to P1 on this one.

Not knocking IS though. I'd still love to own that diorama.

So Prime 1 is selling this...but Chronicle Collectibles will sell it, as well? Is there any particular advantage from pre-ordering at one versus the other?

Also, was there an ES set for this? I didn't see it listed on the P1 site.

What past examples are there of Prime 1 animal or animal-like pieces?

"Statue size" dinosaurs and animals are difficult to execute in factories.
The paints on SS's Dinosauria line is typically "acceptable", with some exceptions, I know I was fairly dissappointed when I got my first, for my next 8 or so I knew what to expect. Same with a couple other companies.

Depends where you live for which one you order from.

Made a few size comparison photos (based on length). Very similarly sized to the latest SS Rex

Remember, perspective and focal depth is different in each photo.
