Congrats! Nice to hear these aren’t all arriving with problems.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Does anyone have her final base dimensions? I've seen some estimates, but they seem to have a 2" difference. I'm worried about where I could display her.
I guess the main question is - does she fit in a Besta with doors on it?

I can measure her tonight when I get home, but I can tell you right now no she will not fit in a Besta with doors. The depth of her base is just over 17".

Thanks, that would be really helpful! Too bad about the Besta... I do have a couple more posibilites in mind, but the Besta would have been the easiest (and the most dust-free!)

You guys wanting to fit her in a Besta just need to get a bit creative, you can make it work. Simply losen the cardboard backing on the cabinet allowing the extra inch or two of the base to push out the backside or remove the backing altogether and replace it with a fabric backdrop. I’ve done this several times with pieces just a bit too deep to fit into the stock enclosure.

I’ve thought about doing something like that before, but it doesn’t really work if the cabinet is flush to the wall.

It really depends on how much room you need. Even with the cabinet flush with the wall there’s about 3/4” of play from the slot the cardboard backing slides into to the back of the cabinet.
On a few of mine I’ve attached the backing to the outside of the cabinet, not in the slots, nailing it only to the top which in turn allows the bottom to swing out to allow that extra space. From the front you can’t really notice the modification.

They’re definitely good ideas.
I’ll keep them in mind if I ever need an inch of space or for any cabinets that I don’t have flush to the wall.

I got my Catwoman on Wednsday the 15th. I've been
following the issue of the broken leg now as I anxiously
anticipated opening mine.
As I am actually a trucker I don't get home regularly so
I Have my statues delivered to a friend that keeps them
until I pick them up.
Well I stopped in my friends town yesterday and they
delivered Catwoman along with 4 other statues that
were there also.
My truck is full inside the cab with these 5 big boxes.
I couldn't resist opening Catwoman as I had to know if
I got a broken one. Happy to say I got a perfect one,#221
of 500 as it is the ex.
It's difficult as heck to get this back in it's container and
then into each box.
So I'm in a bit of a pickle here in Ohio at a rest area afraid
to try to force Catwoman back into her boxes as It's hard
to maneuver even inside a big truck.
I decided to place 3 of the statues on the top bunk one
on the floor and keep Catwomen in here container on
my lower bunk for the night.
Guess that means I'll be sleeping with Catwoman tonight.
Not quite how anyone would fantasize it but it's my reality
tonight. She'll travel with me to Michigan tomorrow and
return back to Maine with me on Thursday or Friday.
So if she makes it back with her legs still attached I'll
post some pictures of her on Friday.
