Mmm, it could be the lack of paint, but face seems a bit different from the original digital picture to me. A bit beefier, perhaps.

It does look tweaked a bit from the early render which I expected. Can't wait to see it with the final paint apps and eyes.

Apparently. Since the reveal of the - beautiful - kinetiquettes portrait of Mai, HMO knows now they have to do something really new to compete with Kinetiquettes. They'll probably print an hamburger.

Update from: Mufizal Mokhtar
After a long back and forth we are finally happy with where she is at this point. James Tce did an amazing job on the face paint design and the overlall paint scheme.
Here are some details :
1) The eyes are re-engineered to capture more light
2) The face paint is final prototype. You can expect minor tweaks as we move to production.
3) the prototype does not have the translucent skin applied, that will come later.
4) Public PO can be expected to come during the next few weeks. (TBA)
5) final ES is 550 ( 60 left for public PO)

It's a nice looking face but i don't see or feel Mai from it at all, if i saw that face with no other reference there is no way i would guess it was Mai Shiranui.
