Is this for real? Reminds me of the Freakazoid from the Animaniacs cartoon. I guess the statue is ok, just too cartoonish. It's annoying how SS has the good 1/4 licenses, yet never gives us comic book accuracy.

The last one is handsculpted by Martin Canale. This one is his digital sculpture. From Apocalypse PF to this Maq makes me fee prettyl nervous about Sideshow artist generation.
But I am still positive about this Maq because I believe there are something interesting that Sideshow did not show off.

Geez, not a fan of the base, blue skin, or EX portrait. Sticking with my OG EX Lobo PF.

I like the stylization on this piece.
But it’s a sign of the times when this is $750.00 and the superior statue from two years ago was $500.00.
At the time the original came out, I felt that Lobo was the last Great Value statue (large piece with exceptional detail) that would be produced.
That was obviously correct, as prices continued to skyrocket annually.

This piece is so not worth the price!
Nothing about it screams a Maquette label ...and nothing about it suggests its $750. Yikes!

a real head scratcher for sure, i still cant get over $750 for a 20" tall "maquette" that includes one switch out portrait. im glad i didnt have any initial interest in this, i would have been severely disappointed
i will say i do really like the sculpt, base and overall concept. i love the reg portrait and the gun is cool but think it would look better without the blast effects

Not all maquettes are 1/4, the Predator line for example has been 1/5 at times.
