So, disappointment seems to be the consensus thus far. Could they possibly have misprinted the size? I know for a fact that they have done this before.

Dimensions seem right, unless this guy is an absolute Hulk of a guy. I'd have to say I'm disappointed with the size and the price, but the level of detail looks incredible (at least from these pics). Disappointed - yes - ordered - yes - it's just so damn cool looking

At this price, I am unequivocally passing on it. At a far better price, I'd definitely pick it up.

It is a shame . . . I have to say, I'm not overly impressed with the $100 discount for SDCC orders either. How about a $100 discount for customers who have already ordered a few other Weta pieces but can't go to the SDCC

I'll probably buy the prawn, but not this. And that price is crazy, but Weta is rather prone to doing that at times...
