Great pics Gino... Is it me or does his helmet look a little scratched and dent-y around the grille area and the dome?

It's the way the paint is reflecting light. It's not actually scratches.

Those are awesome and the poses are great.

Any plans for a ROTJ?

Thanks.
Yes, he is finished as well (99%).
The only thing left on him is to paint the helmet.
Here he is standing next to my emperor display (but he is wearing the ESB helmet).

Thanks.
Good thing I don't wear them, nor do I advocate others dressing up in SW costumes either.
These are all on posable mannequins.

Gino,

I got a quesiton for you. I am trying to finish up my Vader and am wondering how you did such great posable hands. I am trying to figure out how to do it.

The arms are obviously from the posable mannequin, but the mannequin hands for mine won't even fit in the gloves, lol.

I was thinking of trying to do a wire-finger with foam wrapped around it....but not sure if that is the best way.

Any insights?

Also how did you fill out the costume? Meaning my mannequin is no way 'beefy' enough to fill in the Vader like it should be.....care to share what you did?

Thanks for any and all help!

Thanks.
Actually, I created the arms from scratch using heavy gauge wire encased in pvc pipe, then wrapped in foam.

The hands were flocked bendy hands that I added foam to to enlarge them.

The mannequins are run of the mill ebay mannequins that I cut apart, re-fiberglassed together, and added foam which I sculpted out to build up the musculature until it looked right.

Very low tech stuff.
