Is it a good sign when the hosts have to actually pull back the costume on the piece to see the face? Umm...no.

I used to think dust has the potential to damage anything, as it's particles of skin which is made up of grease. However it seems that is a myth. I still have most of my statues behind glass (well, acrylic), as dusting fabric is still a pain

I tend to appreciate a collection in cabinets more than statues placed on a shelf. In my opinion the cabinet approach looks more classy, and gives the impression the person really cares about the pieces of art.....and that's before you consider the practical aspects.
As long as I am able to afford it, I definitely want this Gandalf piece - warts an' all. I think this will be an iconic piece for any LotR fan.

Does anyone think that Infinity Studio will offer a polystone version of this statue like they did with Legolas?

Both versions of Legolas have a polystone body. One version had a PVC portrait, the other had silicone.
I can't imagine a PVC version of Gandalf......

Really wish I had the space for 1/2 scale. I’d be all in for this line, I love both of their pieces so far - Legolas and Gandalf.
Too much space so I’ll admire from the sideline.
I’d feel better investing in this line too rather than the Prime 1, especially after the Ledger Joker debacle.

Oh okay. I thought that Infinity Studio was going to be
releasing 2 different editions of these 1/2 scale Lord of the Rings statues.

They may be.
Though for Gandalf I personally don’t believe they should do a sculpted hair version for him. A PVC or silicone head, sure, but I’m not sure if sculpted hair would look good in this case.
