Hi.. i'm putting these statues for sale (not here though, i'm in asia). it's been a while since i dabbled in this hobby and i dont want to sell these over/underpriced. does anyone know the current going rate for these? just checked ebay and nothing turned up. much obliged. 🙏😊

Ooh, the Gentle Giant Black Widow is one of my "grail" pieces - the one that got away

It almost never comes up for sale these days. I imagine it might fetch a decent price from the right buyer....that said, it hasn't aged well compared to what's out by today's standard....

While the paint app on the Black Widow from Gentle Giant may not have aged all that well, it’s still overall one of the best on the market for that particular character.

Don't get me wrong, I'd still buy the GG BW - just to get the headsculpt repainted and add the obligatory "real" hair. Take the piece to the next level!

I got lucky and had mine already listed when the photos of the repainted version with hair started circulating.
I had a buyer soon after at just over $1K + $75 shipping.

It had never been displayed. and was in excellent condition.

At the time I think others were listed at $1400-$1600.
Buyer was happy when he got it, so that made me happy (no issues or regrets from the buyer to deal with).
