It's a fantastic sculpt and I applaud JND for it (even if it were only the prototype, still amazing achievement).

Even so, to me, it doesn't justify the price.
Personally I'm all for the plain museum-style bases but surely that shouldn't justify a markup, quite the contrary.

Also, compared to HQ, this seems like a step back considering the former sports prosthetic dentures. Again, not that this particular piece would benefit from it, but same upshot as above.

The fact that it's sold out for them means that I'm probably out of touch but that's ok since it's from the wrong Batman movie anyways.

Regardless, you guys can look forward to an epic statue(s) that's for sure.

Looks excellent. But where did the photo come from? Is it a revised sculpt? I don't see they've posted the photo on Facebook or IG.

The likeness looks great, but I wish it went better with the pose of the solo Batman. Actually, my wallet doesn't wish that.

JND has the best DK statue in terms of details and likeness in any scale and format. You can see Bale under the cowl, not just someone that looks like him. Love the simple museum pose. However, there is still room for improvement on the likeness of Bruce Wayne (Bale). It is really close but still not quite there yet. The pose is great. It looks natural and well balance. The tailoring of the suit is fantastic. Hope they could further improve the likeness of Bale in the production statue. Great prototypes.
