When the Game Stands Tall 10/10

If you are a fan of Jim Caviezel (Persons of Interest), he was AWESOME. This movie wasn't even on my radar but my son wanted to see it as his coach recommended it. It sucked me in.

Michael Chiklis plays Jim's Assistant Coach, and Laura Dern STILL looks hot as Jim's wife.

Very impressive that the apes had more depth than the humans. 8/10

A life of crime (2013). 5.5/10 mildly entertaining.

Predestination

The life of a time-traveling Temporal Agent. On his final assignment, he must pursue the one criminal that has eluded him throughout time.

Fantastic mind bender of a movie. I was glued to the screen for the whole thing. Great performances by the cast, nicely shot and directed. Up there with the best time travel movies made imo. If you're a fan of sci-fi, especially time travel, this is definately worth checking out. Highly recommended - 4/5

Cool. I have to say I was sceptical after Daybreakers but this one does look interesting.

Caught that randomly on SBS one late night. It was a fun watch. I was surprised it was made by a couple Aussies, all they usually make here are boring dramas..

Might have to wait a while though, it's only being released in Australia and New Zealand for the time being.
