Indeed it is. Although still odd. I added decapre to my cart and it said 78.41 (not including tax) and that should be 235.23. Was more than $50 for me and we should have the same shipping rate. Did the 3 have different shipping costs? They shouldn't....

At first I just added Cammy to my cart and the shipping was $83.28. Then I added the other 2 and the shipping was $249.84, which is $83.28 x 3, so it seems like they were all the same shipping cost to my address.

Here's the response I got back from Sideshow about the higher shipping cost for the Evo set:

Looking at the order I am seeing that it is an extra $44.52 in shipping for the Evolution set, most likely due to an oversized shipping charge. Though there is a price difference between ordering the Evolution set which has an SRP of $2,700.00 vs purchasing them individually which comes out to a total of $2,800 before taxes and shipping. By ordering the Evolution set your saving around $50.00.

Not sure I fully understand the explanation. My Evo set is coming in 3 different boxes with 3 different UPS tracking numbers, just as they would be if ordered individually. Are they saying because I saved $100 by ordering the set, that's why I get charged more for shipping??? How would UPS know it's the set versus 3 individual statues??? As far as UPS is concerned it's 3 boxes of the same size either way.

UPS sees it as a single shipment of multiple boxes. When you check your tracking you will see one box is labeled as the "Master"

It may have to do with insurance because this way if one statue gets busted the whole matching set can be claimed.

Or it's just how it is set up in their shipping system. Or Sideshow just felt like pocketing an extra charge for the trouble. Their reps have been becoming less and less accommodating especially by chat.

Literally a selling point on the set is that it was that all 3 together would be a little cheaper. Now they are saying "oh look that it's a little cheaper so that would offset the increase!". Seriously how ----ing retarded is Sideshow :|
