thats the great thing about SDCC they all gather in a room on Saturday night, and there is an official event at one of the clubs in town on Friday night

Yeah. I don't know what the deal is, but Zeus Comics, who would be the logical host for something like that here, is really down on WW Texas. They trash it all the time when they talk about it. Apparently, they got treated badly the first year, and decided not to return. I mean, never mind that it's the largest comic convention in Texas, advertised world-wide.
